Why Do Our Clients Trust Us?
David & Yasuko handled a trust sale for me… They came in with a plan, executed that plan, and sold the home as they said they would…couldn’t have gone any smoother…You knew where you stood at all times…they let you know where in the process the sale was and what needed to be done to keep things moving…available at all times, day or night…I just wish I had 10 more homes for them to sell…true professionals in every sense of the word...

They have sold two homes for us and in both instances went out of their way to make sure every detail was handled and that we never had to worry about a single thing. Their pool of trusted service providers took care of everything to get our homes maximum selling price. And when it came down to the final negotiations, they didn’t rush and carefully considered every offer and made sure we were thrilled with the outcome. We can’t say enough about all the wonderful things David and Yasuko did for us and can’t imagine anyone else going to such lengths to ensure our total satisfaction!

He was also willing to negotiate with the seller even though that means less commission. I would not recommend anyone but David!

David and Yasuko were great. They are very ‘public friendly’ sorts, the type you could never get mad at, and I strongly believe that works your favor when, and if, negotiations get tough. After the passing of my mom, my sister and I interviewed about 6 realtors to sell the family home, all recommended, and all eminently qualified and experienced, but we chose David and Yasuko because they seemed exceptionally competent, and friendly. And they were. We could tell they were smart and most likely to think on their feet. Not only that, but they were meticulous on the details, honest beyond my standards (which are pretty high, but not on their level), and knowledgeable. There were some problems during escrow, due to problems with some of the repairs I had done, but David had a solution without skipping a beat, and had recommendations for trade people that were solid. That was experience. His recommendations were always solid, and the results of our efforts (the price we got), was beyond my expectations, by a lot. My wife and I were flipping homes for the better part of a decade at one point and we’ve done many real estate deals, although none in that part of the city. We did so with the help of some great brokers and agents, so I know the routine, and I can say with some confidence that David and Yasuko are outstanding realtors. Oh, and David is a broker, so he doesn’t have to check with anyone for anything, he IS the go to guy. Yasuko arranged the staging of the home, which I think was done very tastefully, and I am certain we got more than our money’s worth from that effort. If someone were to force me to find a fault with them, I’d say it was the fact that David’s fingers hit the phone the second after they hit the send button. I would receive documents to sign on my computer or phone, and an instant later, he was calling me to tell me that, and let me know he’s there in case I had any questions. DAVID, I know you’re there for me! And I know that if you hire him, he’ll be there for you. Super nice people, and pleasure to do business with.

When you hire David and Yasuko Chu, you’re not just hiring a real estate agent – you’re hiring an insurmountable wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom. My wife and I began searching for our first home at the end of June. We contacted David and Yasuko shortly after, which we then had our first meeting at their office. David greeted us and patiently sat down with us for the next 30-45 minutes – not just to hear what our home needs were, but also to get to know us as people. As we described what short of home we were looking for, David assured us that he would do his best to find us a property in our prioritized locations. In the meantime, we had been searching on our own for homes that we liked, and would send them to David to get his opinion. With each property listing we inquired his opinion on, he was always willing to either show us the property if he approved, or let us know why he would not recommend the property to us. After seeing about 5-6 properties, we went to see a home on a Friday evening and decided to place an offer on the home. David had done extensive research over the weekend on the previous sales in the area, and also on the current state of the market. By Monday morning, he had given us a suggested price range of where our offer should land. After much discussion, we decided it was best to follow with David’s suggestion and place our offer within the suggested frame. David made sure that we felt good about making the offer multiple times, which I really appreciated. Buying a home is such a large investment, possibly the largest of a lifetime. His words were, “at the end of the day, I want you guys to feel good about this decision before moving forward. If you don’t feel good, I don’t recommend you move forward. We will be able to find another property for you”. Those words were not just comforting, but also extremely supportive! After placing the offer, and waiting about 6 days, David called us to let us know our offer was accepted! We were in shock! We attribute our offer being accepted to David’s diligence and hard work, as well as his recommendations and suggestions. Throughout escrow, David walked us through each document, answered questions, and was always available for us, sometimes as late as 11pm! He also raised concerns when he saw red flags in the transaction, and told us potential pros and cons to each decision we had to make. He always had our best interest in mind, and was truly the best advocate we could ask for. He fought hard for us, and was able to get us some credit back on our purchase for things that needed to be repaired. He made sure all our documents were signed in the correct order, and on time. Escrow moved fast, but David was always faster. He never wanted us to sign any papers from anyone without conferring with him first, and we’re so glad we didn’t! There were times where we could have signed papers without conferring him, but since we did we felt so much more confident in the process. We closed escrow recently, and couldn’t be happier with our first home. We hope to be able to work with David and Yasuko Chu again in the near future for more property. They’re not just real estate agents, but advocates looking out for your best interest. We can’t thank you enough, Mr. & Mrs. Chu!
